Travel vaccination questions
How much does it cost?
The travel consultation is £25 per person, and it's waived if you have your vaccines at the same appointment. Vaccines are charged separately; the pharmacist confirms which you need and the price before anything is given.
Can I have my vaccines at the same appointment?
Usually, yes. We keep most travel vaccines in stock, so most people are vaccinated during their consultation.
How far ahead should I book?
Ideally 4 to 6 weeks before you travel, as some vaccines need more than one dose. If you're leaving sooner, book anyway; we can often still help.
Do you offer yellow fever?
Yes, at our Glen Parva clinic, which is a registered yellow fever centre. Book a travel consultation there and we'll check whether you need it.
My GP has asked me to get travel advice first. Can you help?
Yes. We'll go through your trip and give you a written summary of the vaccines recommended. The consultation is £25 per person, or free if you have your vaccines with us at the same appointment.
